Most rugs are now imported from such countries as Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, Turkey and China. Imported rugs are supplied in a huge variety of colours, shapes and quality. Imported rugs can be manufactured of natural dyes and fabrics as well as of synthetic ones. In addition imported rugs
can be both factory-made and hand-made.
Don’t underestimate factory-made rugs, because they gain by geometric characteristics, while hand-made rugs are squared less properly. Also note that synthetic dyes such as aniline last much longer than natural ones. By right Iran is considered to be homeland of the most beautiful carpets in the world.
Iranian rugs are synonyms for ultimate quality, durability, comfort and beauty. Iran exports its Persian rugs to many countries all over the world. In fact, most of other imported rugs are just faded copies of Iranian rugs. Also you may find a quantity of ethnic imported rugs.
These rugs are presented by Tibetan religious rugs, some Chinese and Indian carpets. So, the rug market is full now of many various imported rugs. |
